I have loved art ever since I was a little girl, always drawing, painting, and asking for another art set for my birthday.  As I grew up, art stayed just as important to me and helped me think in a different way; instead of just being logical, I also use the creative side of my brain and it has helped me immensely over the years in all aspects of my life.  My art has developed in all forms: drawing, painting, and photography.  When I go to college, I want to continue to discover my creative side and develop my artistic talents.  I will never stop creating, whether I am painting a complex abstract or just doing a quick sketch.  Art will always be a huge part of my life and I look forward to creating more of it.

 

Right now, I am focused mainly on photography whereas in past years, I mostly created paintings and drawings.  I love to look through the lens of my camera and see a whole different world.  Although it’s sometimes difficult to find a good composition for a photo, it’s always worth the effort and the wait when the picture is developed and comes out perfect.  This website will explore all my artistic adventures, including my photography, painting, and drawing.  It will mostly be concentrated on my photography from this past year. I created multiple series, involving different types of photography, but my favorite was definitely the studio shoot.  I loved using the backdrops, the lights, and the models.  It was also a lot of fun to do that project because I loved creating a story through the model and photographs.

 

I have had many influences in my life towards becoming an artistic person.  One of the biggest influences in my life is my aunt Karen Weiser.   While she doesn’t create art by painting or taking pictures, she creates art with her words.  She is a published poet and all of her creativity goes into her poems.  From the time I was little, my aunt always inspired me to be artistic.  I wrote poems and drew pictures just to give to her since she always encouraged me to be creative.  Because of her, I embraced my imagination and created art.
